How I Survive Cancer

I had two operations, one in August and the other in October. I lost my appendix, 15 inches of my small intestine, 8 inches of my large intestine, and the lower right lobe of my lung in the surgeries. However, it got all the cancer! I underwent chemotherapy from December 2007 until February 2007, taking Cisplatin and Etoposide.

How I Fight for a Cure

I am currently raising funds for CFCF through my Caring Bridge site. I want to see more dollars being put towards the research and CURE of this little known cancer.

My Caring Words of Encouragement

The hardest part of all this is hearing that you have cancer.

Surround yourself with people who can support you no matter if you are having a good day or a bad day. If someone is negative and only want to focus on the bad, get them out of your life.

You need all the positive energy you can to get through the treatment! You CAN do this!
