Find peace with God and give joyous thanksgiving for my life

Stay pro-active in my care and treatment choices

Try to stay as overall healthy as possible so that my body, mind and spirit can fight the long-term (hopefully) issues with this disease
 

How I Fight for a Cure

Be involved with and support organizations focused on carcinoid issues and cures

Spread what I learn about carcinoid to others who are touched by this disease

Assist in making others aware of carcinoid
 

My Caring Words of Encouragement

Look at the glass as half-full, not half-empty;  stay positive

Our efforts will help those who are yet to be touched (but will be) by the disease;  perhaps our efforts will assist us in extending our own relatively healthy life expectancies

Our disease often gives one the luxury of realizing the fragileness of life and then giving us more time to honor the blessedness of daily life
