How I Survive Cancer

Quite simply, this is a battle for your life, and you must be prepared to do whatever needs to be done even if it means leaving your comfort zone.

You must get educated, seek out the finest medical professionals no matter where they may be, and be one hundred percent committed to do battle.  Determination is key, as is finding the right physicians.

I am a success story in the fight against carcinoid.  I have had mine successfully removed, including a major liver resection operation, and am currently cancer-free with an excellent prognosis.

How I Fight for a Cure

I think Nancy and the Caring for Carcinoid Foundation are doing a great job, and I contribute to their organization as well as the carcinoid support groups on-line.

I am also one of two carcinoid survivors working nationally for the R.A. Bloch cancer hotline.

My Caring Words of Encouragement

As Winston Churchill once said, "If you're going through Hell;  keep going".

That's my mantra, and you must GO FORWARD to beat this disease.
