How I survive cancer:
Each and every day is a gift. I awake every morning gazing out the 2nd story window overlooking the woods, nestled up close to some big White Pines; feels like I'm in a treehouse. I am loving and well-loved, have a wonderful family, a fabulous husband, and work in the community helping others affected by cancer.
How I fight for a cure:
I don't "fight" for a cure, instead I help people to live the best lives they can, find peace and understanding in their hearts, and acceptance of their disease as being part of them not a separate entity.
My caring words of encouragement:
Let love and light shine: in, around, beneath, above, behind, from, in front of, and beyond. (If this sounds too sappy for you, givemeabreak, I've got tons of seratonin flowing through me!) (lol) A sense of humor is tantamount to survival.
