Survivor Story Photo
Cancer type (NET):
Carcinoid
Diagnosis Year:
2010
How I survive cancer:
Before I was diagnosed and knew what was going on, I was barely able to breathe. I was sent to the hospital where they did a ct scan and shoved a scope down into my lung to discover that my bronchial tube in my right lung was 95% blocked by a carcinoid tumor. 4 days later I lost 2/3 of my right lung. It's been a little over a year being the big C free...yipee =)
How I fight for a cure:
Faith and hope
My caring words of encouragement:
Never ever take what you have for granted because your life and the ones that love you are the only things that matter...ever!
