Survivor Story Photo
Cancer type (NET):
Carcinoid
Diagnosis Year:
2007
How I survive cancer:
When I first found out about the cancer, I was in 4th Stage. I had been very heavy (259 pounds), and when I found out in March 2007, I was 98 pounds. I had diarrhea and weight loss pain in my stomach. I had great doctors. From March to August I had all kinds of test done, but my cancer doctor did not give up on me. Also I have prayers all around me from friends.
How I fight for a cure:
I still have to fight.
My caring words of encouragement:
I will love to help other people by praying for them. Where I live, I don't have anybody close by to just to talk with, so I count on God to help me get through.
