Cure Carcinoid Golf Tournament

The Caring for Carcinoid Foundation (CFCF) proudly supports the annual Cure Carcinoid Golf Tournament in memory of Bradford Monks.

Introduction

The Cure Carcinoid Golf Tournament is hosted annually by SecondMarket in memory of Bradford Monks.

Bradford collaborated with Barry Silbert in the establishment of SecondMarket.  Bradford was diagnosed in November 2004 with Carcinoid Cancer and died on February 17, 2007 at the age of 40 at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City.  Bradford is survived by his mother, Eleanor Monks, sister and brother-in-law, Julie and David Zvara, and brother, Dave.

100% of every dollar goes to cutting-edge carcinoid research.

2008 Cure Carcinoid Golf Tournament

The 2nd Annual Cure Carcinoid Golf Tournament occurred on October 6, 2008 at the Knickerbocker Country Club in Tenafly, New Jersey. After golfing, players and guests enjoyed a cocktail party followed by dinner and a Live Auction. Live Auction items included a golf package at the Governor’s Club in Chapel Hill, a Gucci Handbag, Chelsea Piers Gift Package and V.I.P. tickets to the Late Show with David Letterman.

The 1st Annual Cure Carcinoid Golf Tournament occurred on October 4, 2007 at the Knickerbocker Country Club in Tenafly, New Jersey.  After golfing, players and guests enjoyed a cocktail party followed by dinner and a Live Auction.  Live Auction items included a golf package at the Olympic Club in San Francisco, a round of golf at Trump National Golf Club, a Gucci Britt Tote Bag and tickets to the Late Show with David Letterman.
