Biking 82 miles round trip from Ashton, MD to York, PA and back on the NCR and York Heritage Rail trails
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I am biking 82 miles total - leaving from Ashland, MD to York, PA and back along the North Central Railroad and York Hertiage Rail Trail in honor of my awesome sister Debbie who is courageously battling Neuroendoctrine tumor (NET) - Carcinoid cancer. Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. I am a Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumor patient and avid cyclist. I will be riding from NYC to Montauk, the eastern tip of Long Island, approximately 100 miles and am gathering sponsors to raise money for the Caring for Carcinoid Foundation.

Join the Caring for Carcinoid Foundation for a night of delicious fun! CFCF board member, Jonathan Soroff, will be Anna’s Taqueria’s featured celebrity burrito roller on February 19th.

Anna’s Taqueria, Boston’s beloved burrito joint, rolls for a cause in 2013 by enlisting a different local celebrity each month to prepare its signature West Coast-style burritos in support of area charities. Hosted monthly at Anna’s Harvard Street store, the rolling series invites guests to give back to local organizations by paying $10 for their celebrity-rolled burrito, with the entire cost going toward the charity of the roller’s choice.

Boat on the Bayou, Dinner in the Quarter is a charity event hosted by the senior class of The Culinary Institute of America (CIA).  The evening includes a boat cruise on the Hudson River for cocktail hour and a silent auction.  Following the boat cruise, dinner will be a modern take on traditional New Orleans cuisine.  Proceeds benefit the Chef Robert Briggs Memorial Scholarship Fund and the Caring for Carcinoid Foundation.  Chef Briggs was a professor at the CIA who taught many members of this class.  He recently passed from pancreatic cancer.  The Caring for Carcinoid Foundation raises awareness and assists in research related to pancreatic and neuroendocrine cancers.

Price: $110 per person, tax and service included.
