The Caring for Carcinoid Foundation (CFCF) proudly supports the annual Cure Carcinoid Golf Tournament in memory of Bradford Monks.

Bradford collaborated with Barry Silbert in the establishment of SecondMarket.  Bradford was diagnosed in November 2004 with carcinoid cancer and died on February 17, 2007 at the age of 40 at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City.  Bradford is survived by his mother, Eleanor Monks, sister and brother-in-law, Julie and David Zvara, and brother, Dave.  Funds support the SecondMarket-Bradford Monks Memorial Award.
